Ten Foolproof Tips When Shopping on Ticketmaster

  1. Log in or create a Ticketmaster account in advance, before tickets go on sale. We also recommend you have your password handy or reset it in advance to avoid delays.
  2. Have your up-to-date stored billing information within your Ticketmaster account. Take the time before the sale begins to prepare, instead of rushing later.
  3. Traveling for a show? Double-check what time tickets go on sale. Many times events may be listed in “local time” based on the venue location – keep that in mind when purchasing tickets for an event far away from home.
  4. With most high demand events, tickets can often sell out within minutes. Set a calendar reminder for your favorite artists, teams, or shows. While being online exactly when tickets go on sale does not guarantee a ticket, it may help provide a better opportunity to shop.
  5. Save time by searching for the Best Available ticket vs. a price range or section level. When you search by Best Available, it will scan all sections and prices to provide you the best ticket option at that time, pending availability.
  6. Don’t look like a ticket bot! When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window and on a single device. Opening multiple windows or tabs to purchase tickets, will result in errors.
  7. We know you’re excited, but please do not refresh your browser multiple times for multiple ticket searches. This is bot-like activity, and for security purposes may result in you being blocked for a period of time and unable to shop for tickets.
  8. Sometimes unannounced or additional shows are added after tickets go on sale. We encourage you to check back often for newly added shows or tickets – you never know what you might find.
  9. Download the Ticketmaster app and never miss out on the go. Our app gives you the power to discover, purchase, and manage your tickets all in one place – when you’re on the move.
  10. We have fan-to-fan resale tickets. Fans who purchased tickets when they went on sale, may no longer be able to attend, and list their tickets for sale. Check back often, new fan-to-fan ticket inventory is added all the way up to the day of the event.
